We have guilds up and running on Forstmourne, Kil'Jaeden, and Khaz'goroth. We will be introducing more and more QueueQ Premades guilds between now and Cataclysm and holding more server side events in addition to our regularly scheduled Call to Arms.

The intention of the realm forums is to get a specific area for discussion in place to facilitate the current development of server specific QueueQ activities and for future organization of rated bg teams regardless of guild involvement. Feel free to use them for anything server specific. Want to form a group to queue into WG? Schedule a For the Alliance run? New transfer and just want to introduce yourself? Thinking about moving to a new server and want more info? These forums would be a good place for these discussions.

QueueQ Thu, 14 Oct 2010 03:21:13 -0000 http://www.queueq.net/news/show/443345 http://www.queueq.net/news/show/443345 Membership pricing change.
Posted 10/13/2010 07:15 PM by QueueQ.

You may have noticed some changes to the membership donation link. The decision has been made to change membership to a monthly recurring subscription. This was the original intention of the membership structure but was put on hold in the beginning to establish credibility. After 14 months I think we've done that. It will also make things very convenient for the many of you who have donated several times over (and sometimes unexpectedly been expired without notice). This will no longer be an issue as the account will simply be deactivated upon the subscription cancellation.

It's understood that this change is a price increase as well as now requiring a Paypal account to manage the subscription. The potential for an overall reduction in TOTAL active members at any given point is a benefit and part of the reason this change was enacted. It potentially reduces the total number of members adding value (and reducing wait times) for existing members as well as making the "behind the scenes" management process much easier reducing the number of expired memberships that slip through the cracks adding to member wait times.

Any members that donated prior to this change will keep their original expiration date based on the date and level at which they donated. For example if you donated $25 on August 15th 2010 you will keep your membership as is until August 15, 2011 and then select from whatever membership options are available at the time.

I intend to implement a $25 option allowing for a 6 month membership duration prior to Alterac Valley weekend once I get the code for it worked out.

Any questions about memberships should be directed to me either via the forums or in Ventrilo directly. The forum discussion can be found here http://www.queueq.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=985 or I can be reached directly for inquiries at qqpremades@gmail.com

-QQ

QueueQ Thu, 14 Oct 2010 03:15:13 -0000 http://www.queueq.net/news/show/443344 http://www.queueq.net/news/show/443344 User Editor Rebuild
Posted 10/11/2010 12:49 PM by QueueQ.

Hey everyone,

When the WoW servers go down for maintenance tonight I'll be taking the opportunity to do a server restart as well as a complete rebuild of our user editor. This is a pretty significant project and will take some time to complete.

What this means is all user privileges will be reset and all user profiles will be completely rebuilt. By the time the WoW servers come back online all GM's, leaders, and members who donated at the 1 year level should be reinstated. All other member user access will be restored gradually between Tuesday and the Eye of the Storm Call to Arms beginning October 15th.

It's very important to note that this means ALL EXPIRED MEMBERSHIPS that may have slipped through the cracks will be completely removed from the user editor. This may result in "invalid password" errors. If you were a member but get errors trying to log in AFTER Oct 15th stating "invalid password" simply remove your password from the server info and you should be able to log in as a guest.

*MOST* members trying to log in between Tuesday and the start of the Call to Arms will get errors trying to log in. Either create a new Ventrilo name or remove your password to be allowed access into the Ventrilo server until the rebuild is complete. Again, if you continue to get tehse errors it is likely your membership has expired. You can redonate using the same donate link on the front page, or if you do NOT believe your membership to have been expired post here http://www.queueq.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=25

QueueQ Mon, 11 Oct 2010 20:49:03 -0000 http://www.queueq.net/news/show/442713 http://www.queueq.net/news/show/442713 QueueQ Cata Info
Posted 09/29/2010 01:04 PM by QueueQ.

The discussion of my intentions for QueueQ premades can be seen here:
http://www.queueq.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=923

We will be holding our first server side event on Kil'Jaeden. Those days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

These days are much less busy for many reasons. Primarily because the honor benefit isn't as great and the queues are longer and more difficult to manage. It's also a nice break for our leaders and GM's alike. With that being said we do recognize cutting down our availability to 4 days out of the 3 day week effects a large section of our user base. The midweek is nice because it's a bit more laid back, less "honor farmy" and an ideal time to gun for achievements that our organization is well suited to attempt.

I wanted to post about this to let everyone know I will be paying much more attention to the midweek, refining the queuing strategy, and training leaders more specifically on how to play differently during the midweek. This is a direct result of your feedback to the trial of not queuing randoms during the midweek, and we basically were not running games from tue-thur.

Please continue to send your feedback about individual leaders, or the organization in general by right clicking on my, or any other name in Ventrilo, going to user -> lodge complaint about. As you've probably heard a thousand times this is a system for good or bad feedback, just keep your comments as constructive as possible.

-QQ

QueueQ Wed, 14 Jul 2010 22:13:00 -0000 http://www.queueq.net/news/show/422768 http://www.queueq.net/news/show/422768 AV Weekend
Posted 06/22/2010 01:12 AM by QueueQ.

This last AV Call to Arms was probably the best yet. We had 2 games going for the most part from the start to the finish. On several occasions we had 4 games going and capped the vent server at 250 people more than once.

To be concise, I thnk this was the best AV weekend ever. We had some really fun games, got a lot of honor.

Special thanks to GM's Thorne and Emcee for cumulatively leading well over 200 AV's JUST during this one Call to Arms. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. Just some quick math for fun.

200 games x 40 players = 8000 individual wins achieved.

8000 wins x about 6.5k honor per game giove or take. = 52,000,000 total honor contributed to the alliance of this battlegroup in this weekend alone. That's 52 MILLION honor farmed.

52 Million honor will buy the Alliance 1200 Wrathful offpeices at 42k a peice. Just... this... weekend. We've been doing this for 10 months.

and had some fun in the process..

GG.
-QQ

QueueQ Tue, 22 Jun 2010 09:12:49 -0000 http://www.queueq.net/news/show/416568 http://www.queueq.net/news/show/416568
